Dr Alex Rushforth, CWTS

Dr Alex Rushfort (Chair) 

Dr Alex Rushforth is a scholar in the fields of sociology of science and science policy, with his research and teaching centered on the areas of research evaluation, bibliometrics, science governance and science and technology studies (STS) more broadly. He is a senior research fellow with the Research on Research Institute (RoRI).

 


Alina Irimia

Alina Irimia leads the Open Science projects at UEFISCDI and is an Open science and foresight expert at the UNESCO Chair for Science and Innovation Policy at SNSPA-Bucharest. She has been collaborating with UEFISCDI in policy advice actions and support projects for the higher education and research systems over the past 15 years. From 2019 to 2022, she coordinated the development of the National Strategic Framework for Open Science in Romania, embodied in the White Paper on the Transition to Open Science 2023-2030. Janne Pölönen, TSV

Janne Pölönen 

Janne Pölönen is Secretary General for Publication Forum at Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV). Since 2010, Pölönen has participated in the development of community-curated national classification of peer-reviewed journals and book publishers (Publication Forum). Lic.Phil. in history, specialising in ancient Roman law and society research, his recent research work is in the fields of scholarly communication, bibliometrics, research assessment, open science and learned societies. He is also a member of the CoARA Steering Board, coordinator of CoARA WG on Multilingualism and Language Biases in Research Assessment, and advocate for the Helsinki Initiative on Multilingualism in Scholarly Communication.

 


Lottie Provost

Lottie Provost works at the Institute of Computational Linguistics of the CNR. Her work revolves around the promotion and implementation of Open Science and Research Data Management practices, primarily for SSH. She has a background in Languages and Social Sciences and in International Project Management. She is co-leading WP 6 - Communication, Engagement, Exploitation in the Horizon Europe project GraspOS and participates in the CNR Pilot activity. ORCID: 0000-0001-5279-797X
